History and Description of Anchor Marine

Anchor Marine has been in operation at its present location since 1965.  The current ownership has been in place since 1985.  Anchor Marine is a seven (7) million dollar a year business, with 24 full time & 5 part time employees.  The Management team has a combined 110 years experience in Recreational Boating and Marina Operation, Dock Design and Installation.

Anchor Marine operates a full service 112 Slip Marina, New & Used Boat Dealership, Service Facility, Gas Dock, Ships Store and Boat Storage facility on a 28 acre plot of land at the intersection of E. River and Ferry Road on the Island.  We are an award winning facility, being recognized for National and International awards from various Boat Manufacturers and Marine Retailing associations.
 

Marina Facility currently operated

The Marina sits on 900 feet of Niagara River shoreline, features a double lane launch ramp, haul out hoist, and large boat haul out facility & travel lift that can handle boats up to 58’ in length and 30 tons.  The facility also offers EZ-Dock Personal Water Craft (PWC) ports for drive-on transient mooring and EZ-Dock launch ramp docks.

The Marina accommodates boats from 18 to 45’ and the storage facility handles approximately 500 boats a year ranging from 18 to 57’ in length.   The facility has seven large metal storage buildings totaling approximately 110,000 square feet of storage space, and uses approximately 6 acres of land for outdoor storage.  The largest building offers rack style storage for 96 boats up to 30’ and is service by a Taylor Marina High Lift capable of rack storing 30’ up to 3 stories high.
 

EZ Dock of Western NY

EZ Dock of WNY is the distributor and sole supplier of EZ Dock products for all of the 716 and 585 telephone area codes.  This territory is approximately 14,000 square miles and covers the entire western end of New York state, it reaches from the Pennsylvania border north to the shores of Lake Ontario.  Our territory encompasses the Lake Erie Shoreline, Lake Ontario Shoreline, the Niagara River, Erie Canal, Conesus Lake, Lake Chatauqua, Cuba Lake, Lime Lake, Rushford Lake, Findley Lake, and literally thousands of smaller lakes, rivers, streams, ponds etc.  We are blessed with beautiful and countless recreational waterways.

EZ Dock of WNY has a full time staff of four people.  One designer/estimater, one crew chief and two installers.  We maintain a 40 x 100’ warehouse in Grand Island, New York that is stocked with materials for every possible dock configuration.  EZ Dock of WNY has a fleet of trucks, work boats and lifting equipment for any and all types of jobs.
